Rationale

Historical data confirms that the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) hit a low below $730 in July 2026. On July 29, 2026, SPY traded down to an intraday low of $725.98, fulfilling the condition.

Rationale

SPY closed at $729.46 on July 29 2026 with an intraday low of $729.10 during regular trading hours, per exchange and Pyth data. This is clearly below the $730 threshold in a 1-minute candle low during July. The level has already been reached, making resolution to Yes all but certain barring data revision. Strongest evidence is daily and intraday price records from primary exchange and Pyth 1-min candles confirming the low. Main uncertainty is any corporate action (split) or data outage, but none reported and resolution rules allow fallback to official daily low. A massive rebound in final hours would not undo the already recorded low.

Rationale

SPY trades at roughly one-tenth of the S&P 500 index, so the $730 trigger corresponds to an index level near 7300. On July 29 the S&P 500 fell 1.52% to close at 7,316.15 (Dow -1,100 pts) after the Fed's hawkish 9-3 hold with three members dissenting for a hike and renewed US-Iran fighting; SPY closed near $731.6. With the index closing only ~16 points (~0.2%) above the equivalent trigger, the intraday low on July 29 quite possibly already touched ~7300, and two regular sessions remain (July 30 with GDP/core-PCE and post-Fed yield pressure, July 31) with volatility elevated, chip stocks selling off, and bond yields surging. Either the July 29 intraday low or further weakness in the remaining sessions makes a 1-minute low at or below $730 more likely than not. Main uncertainty: a strong relief rally on Big Tech earnings or soft PCE could lift SPY away from the trigger without it ever printing 730.00 during regular hours.

Rationale

SPY's July 29 regular-session low was $729.10, below the $730 threshold. Because the relevant low occurred during regular hours, YES is effectively determined, subject only to an improbable Pyth data discrepancy.

Rationale

SPY last traded around $729.46 and intraday lows today are near $729.10, which is already below the $730 low threshold. The requirement is that any 1‑minute regular‑hours candle in July has a low equal to or below $730, and today’s low‑of‑day clearly meets that condition. Volatility indicators such as the VIX at about 20.7 confirm heightened risk‑off pressure but do not change the fact that the ETF has already printed below $730 on this trading day. Therefore the probability that SPY hits a low of $730 or less in July is very high.

Rationale

This asks whether SPY hits a 1-minute candle Low at or below $730 during regular trading hours (9:30 AM–4:00 PM ET) in July 2026, per Pyth data. If SPY is trading near or slightly above $730 in late July 2026, a moderate intraday pullback could trigger this level. If SPY is already below $730, the market likely resolved YES earlier. Given typical equity market volatility and the proximity to the end of July, there is roughly even odds that SPY touches $730 at some point during the month. Main uncertainty: the exact current SPY level relative to $730 and whether remaining July sessions see enough downside pressure.

METHODOLOGY

Resolution rules

This market will resolve to "Yes" if, at any point during July 2026, any 1-minute candle for S&P 500 (SPY) has a final "Low" price equal to or below the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only prices achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange on which the listed security trades (typically 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) will be considered. Prices occurring during pre-market or after-hours trading will not qualify. Prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Pyth — specifically, the S&P 500 (SPY) "Low" prices available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.SPY%2FUSD, with the chart settings configured for 1-minute candles. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter. Any timestamp within the listed market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (e.g., https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.SPY%2FUSD?t=1773432000) If the relevant Pyth data is unavailable due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption that prevents verification of the required 1-minute candle data, the official daily low price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine whether the listed price was reached during the applicable trading session.
